We are in the age of monthly subscriptions, whether it be for data storage, tv/movie streaming, food delivery, ECT. These subscriptions may only be $1.99 or $7.99 each but they add up quickly.
There was a time that I could not have told you what day my subscriptions where due or how much they were charging monthly.
First money saving tip here is to know what subscriptions you have, how much they are charging and when your subscriptions are due.
You may find you have subscriptions that you pay for monthly that you don't use and if this is the case don't even think about it just cancel them. If you decide to use it in the future you can always reactivate your subscription at that time.
For the subscriptions you use check out the other plans they offer but before you commit to lesser plan I want you to hit the cancel button and see if they give you an offer to stay. You may be surprised at the offer they give.
For one instance a subscription I was originally paying $7.99 a month for, was offered to me for only $2.99 a month if I stayed. When you look at it as a $5 monthly savings it seems like nothing but if you look at the bigger picture, instead of paying $95.88 for the year I am only going to pay $35.88, that's a $60.00 savings.
We can use the same concept with some of the necessary bills such as our internet, phone and insurances. If you are in an area where there is competition than call your company and see if they will match the deals their competitors are offering.
Everyday the prices around us are changing and they only seem to be increasing so if we have to play their games to win let's do it.
