If you have a smart phone device then you have probably downloaded apps or applications to help with everyday ventures. While I have used many different apps over the years there are a few that I use almost daily to help save me money. Please note that the experiences I share today are personal and in no way represented by the application providers.
There are several ways to save or make money with the apps listed below. One way is by referring your friends and families to utilize the apps as well through sharing a referral code or link like the ones found below. The other is my logging into the apps prior to shopping and locate the items you will be shopping for then follow the on screen instructions to claim the offer. Each site has a different way to claim offers and onsite instructions on finalizing your claim once the purchase has been completed. Below I am going to talk about two of my favorite apps I use daily.
Ibotta
Ibotta is an app and website that can be used on your desktop and mobile devices. The Ibotta site allows you to earn credit back in categories such as grocery, alcohol, restaurants, online shopping, travel and much more.
My personal favorite use of the Ibotta app is using it to earn cash back on groceries. Through Ibotta you earn credit back once you claim an item, purchase the item and submit your receipt for review. As long as the items purchased match those of the claimed offer there should be no issue with receiving the credits to your account. Once your account meets 20.00 in credit then the money can be redeemed through gift cards or direct deposited into your bank account. To date I have personally redeemed over 500.00 using this app. Check out my referral link below.

Upside
Upside is an app that can only be accessed through your mobile device. This app uses your devices location to help you check in and claim offers. While this app can help you save in categories such as gas, restaurants and convenience stores I have personally only used it to help earn credits back for gas.
When I first started out the hardest part of this app was remembering to use it. Now that I have started earning credits back I cannot wait to open the app to locate the best savings I can find when I have to fill up. You simply open the app choose the savings type you want (for me gas) then search nearby locations. The app gives you the current price per gallon and the amount of credit back per gallon you can earn at locations nearest you. Once you have chosen the gas station you plan to use you simply head there and follow the on screen instructions to claim and redeem your offer. Just like with the app mentioned above you can redeem your credits by transferring them to a gift card or depositing them directly into your bank account. To date I have personally redeemed over 100.00 using this app. Check out my referral link below.

The internet is filled with many money saving apps that can be found useful so if you are interested in finding more ways to save my best advice is to ask your friends and family to share with you the apps they personally use and the experiences they have gained from utilizing them. As I close out this short I just want to say good luck on your venture to save and remember that every little bit adds up.
